Anxiety

Anxiety is a common side effect of health issues. It's not hard to treat IF you can pin down the biological cause of the anxiety.

People frequently interpret anxiety through a social lens and figure other people are mad at them or something. It's much more often simply a biological thing.

Anxiety may be rooted in an excess of adrenaline in the system. Foods containing rosemary, dill or sage can help if this is the issue.

The above is the most likely answer if you are going through withdrawal. When stressors are removed from the system, it can take days or weeks for the adrenals to ramp down their production of adrenaline. During that time, snacks with rosemary, dill or sage can save your sanity and your social connections.

It may be due to an allergic reaction or a need for adrenal support. Caffeine, good quality salt or licorice made with real licorice extract can help. Red licorice is milder than black and I like the taste better.

It can be due to low blood sugar. If so, eat something that is NOT sugary. Something with protein and fat and whole grains, not processed white carbs.

Something that feels very similar to low blood sugar issues but is treated completely differently: The lymphatic system is under stress due to toxic crud being cleared out. This can be accompanied by heart pain and it is treated by laying down for ten to twenty minutes until the sensations pass.

And, of course, just for funsies there's no reason it can't have more than one cause.
