Electrolyte derangement and getting easily shocked
Cystic fibrosis is basically a salt wasting condition and as you sweat out large amounts of salt, it drags other things with it. So the most common test for it is a sweat chloride test which basically determines how salty your sweat is.
A lesser known test is the nasal potential difference test and a little known side effect of cystic fibrosis is that people with CF tend to get easily shocked from static electricity. And we tend to get more badly shocked than average.
This was a huge aggravation in my youth and has largely gone away. I slept in a tent for nearly six years and it's known that one way to ground the body is to walk on the earth or sleep on it, so that helped physically ground me but also I was working on my health generally during that time and redressing the lack of healthy fats, etc.
So it's kind of a medically known thing that electrolyte derangement causes increased susceptibility to being easily shocked AND in my experience this is associated with people being giddy, emotionally ungrounded, etc.
In addition to walking around on bare earth, wearing real leather shoes also helps ground someone who is medically ungrounded in this way. If you are treating brain issues and this is causing a lot of clear fluid to drain from the eyes and nose, that fluid is SALTY and this drags other stuff with it and causes electrolyte derangement. It may not be as bad as what someone with CF goes through, but if you are draining a lot of fluid, giddy and emotionally ungrounded and getting more easily shocked, this is a good sign you have electrolyte derangement.
The heart is the largest source of electrical impulses in the body so dealing with heart issues can also play into this pattern. Trypanosomas are known to cause heart issues, so treating for trypanosomas can lead to issues like this as well.
Healthy fats help ground people. This gets really bad in people with CF because we misprocess fats and tend to be fat deficient.
You also need to redress the electrolyte imbalance and if you can't identify which electrolytes in specific are deficient, then go to the beach or order Celtic sea salt to get ALL the electrolytes in the right balance. And wear your leather shoes until this gets more sorted out.
Co-q-10 is heart support, so that may help if the heart is a factor in this issue. Calcium and magnesium are known to help calm people down, so that may also help.
People with CF can end up with osteoporosis in their teens, so there is a relationship between electrolytes and these alkaline minerals as well.
