The "Bread and Circus" Label

I have just added a "Bread and Circus" label for this site and put it on a few posts. It may not be obvious to readers what that means to me nor why THOSE posts in specific are labeled that way.

As noted in the sidebar on this site, there is no magic pixie dust. Getting better is a long, hard slog with a lot of frustrating downtime.

A LARGE part of getting better is managing your MOOD and NOT LOSING YOUR MARBLES and NOT doing something amazingly STUPID while you feel like hell as a side effect of actually getting better.

You do a THING to address your health issues, like use an antibiotic or antibiotic alternative or throw things out, AND then you need to lay low, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE and try to not just lose your shit while you feel awful, have a lot of EMOTIONAL stuff happening that is BIOLOGICALLY BASED but which you will WANT to interpret as some kind of meaningful feedback on your life or the world around you, spend a lot of time ALONE while feeling AWFUL and questioning your sanity, ETC.
