Silver Poisoning

My best understanding is there is no known chelation protocol for silver poisoning, so a best practice is: Try to not get it to begin with.

You should avoid:
  • Use of real silverware -- spoons, knives and forks made with actual silver.
  • Use of other silver tableware (goblets, etc).
  • Consumption of colloidal silver or similar products.
However, when I was on the autism-mercury chelation group that no longer exists, someone said that if you have silver poisoning, you should seek to treat OTHER metal poisoning that you have because they interact and two or more kinds of metal poisoning likely has not just an additive impact but a synergistic impact.

If you have mercury poisoning from amalgam fillings, have those removed and treat for mercury poisoning.

If you have lead poisoning from lead pipes in the home, remedy the plumbing issue if you are still living with that and treat for lead poisoning.

Etc.

If you have CF, I believe people with CF are more prone to metal poisoning than average. Years ago, I ran this idea past a guy with a PhD in Biology and was told "Given the function of the CFTR, that's very possible or likely." or something along those lines. AKA "You aren't just nuts, Doreen. What I know of biology makes that plausible."

I am extra careful about trying to avoid anything that might increase the level of metals in my system, as well as plastics and petrochemicals.
