So as the miracle drugs addressing the gating issues at the cellular level for CF began to come out, I was like "Welp, that makes everything I know obsolete. NO ONE will ever care."

Today, there are two comments in an HN discussion indicating that these new drugs cause substantial and unwelcome weight gain, not simply "Yay! I no longer look like a concentration camp dweller!"

Maybe there is still a use for what I know. Their miracle cure looks less miraculous than I heard at first blush.
